A space for clarity, healing, and forward movement

Professional support for individuals and couples in Hinsdale, IL and Chicagoland area.

Welcome

There are seasons in life when things feel heavier than usual—when anxiety lingers, relationships feel strained, or something significant has shifted beneath your feet. You may be carrying grief, facing a diagnosis, questioning your next step, or simply feeling unlike yourself.

Whatever brings you here, it matters.

Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re going through, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and steadiness.

Alison Graft, LCSW, therapist and collaborative divorce coach in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Alison Graft, LCSW

I’m Alison Graft, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Hinsdale, IL, with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through some of life’s most complex and emotionally charged seasons.

My work includes individual therapy, couples therapy, and relationship-focused coaching. In addition to traditional couples therapy, I also offer a more structured and forward-focused coaching approach for couples facing major transitions, navigating separation, rebuilding trust, or trying to gain clarity about the future of their relationship.

Clients often come to me not only for support, but for clarity.
Clarity about themselves.
Clarity about their relationship.
Clarity about what comes next.

My style is steady, thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe meaningful work can happen alongside moments of honesty, warmth, and even humor. I don’t rush the process or impose a one-size-fits-all path. Instead, I help clients slow things down, better understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and move forward in a way that feels more intentional, connected, and aligned with who they truly are.

Whether we’re working together in therapy or coaching, the goal is not only to help you make meaningful, well-supported decisions, but also to deepen self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, and reconnect with a stronger sense of yourself along the way.
