Support for individuals, couples, and relationship transitions
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy can help when life feels overwhelming, emotionally heavy, or difficult to navigate alone. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of cancer or chronic illness. I also offer EMDR therapy to help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the emotional impact of difficult or distressing memories.
Together, we create space to slow things down, better understand what you’re carrying, and begin making meaningful shifts that feel aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
Areas of focus include:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression
Trauma and difficult past experiences
Grief and loss
Life transitions
Cancer and chronic illness
Relationship patterns and self-awareness
Insurance: In network with BCBS PPO
Couples Therapy
Relationships can become strained by stress, disconnection, unresolved conflict, life transitions, or painful relational injuries. I specialize in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and bring extensive training and experience in helping couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict more effectively, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection.
My role is not to take sides, but to help both partners feel heard, understood, and better equipped to move forward together in a healthier and more intentional way.
Before beginning couples therapy, I offer a thorough Gottman assessment process to better understand your relationship dynamics, communication patterns, strengths, and areas of struggle. This process includes a joint intake session, individual sessions with each partner, and a structured relationship assessment to help us begin the work in a way that feels thoughtful, clear, and tailored to your relationship and goals.
Couples therapy may be a good fit if you:
feel stuck in repetitive conflict
feel emotionally disconnected
are navigating a major life transition together
want to rebuild trust and closeness
Insurance: BCBS PPO may be accepted depending on the nature of treatment. Couples therapy is often private pay.
Discernment Counseling
Discernment counseling is a short-term, structured process designed for couples who feel unsure about whether to stay together, separate, or move toward divorce.
Unlike traditional couples therapy, the goal is not immediate relationship repair, but clarity. This process helps both partners better understand what has happened in the relationship, reflect on patterns and concerns, and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
Discernment counseling may be a good fit if:
one partner is leaning toward leaving while the other wants to preserve the relationship
you feel stuck in uncertainty, fear, or emotional gridlock
you want to make a more intentional and grounded decision about the future of your relationship
Sessions typically involve a combination of joint and individual conversations and are offered in a short-term format of 1–6 sessions.
By the end of the process, couples often feel more clear and confident about whether to continue the relationship as it is, move toward separation, or commit to focused couples therapy with renewed intention.
Collaborative Divorce Coaching
Collaborative divorce coaching is a specialized, future-focused service designed to support the emotional and communication aspects of divorce.
Unlike therapy, which often focuses on healing past wounds, divorce coaching helps you move through the separation process with greater clarity, steadiness, and intentional decision-making. I help clients better understand their options, manage intense emotions, communicate more productively, and stay focused on what matters most for themselves and their families.
As part of the collaborative divorce process, I support clients in:
managing emotional overwhelm during negotiations
improving communication and respectful dialogue
clarifying goals, priorities, and concerns
developing thoughtful co-parenting plans
keeping the process productive and forward-moving
With over 20 years of experience working with couples and complex family dynamics, I bring a calm, grounded presence to this work. I also offer concierge-style support on a case-by-case basis, including home visits and other individualized services when additional flexibility or support is needed.
Post-Divorce Coaching
The end of a marriage often brings grief, uncertainty, identity shifts, and practical challenges that continue long after the legal process is complete.
Post-divorce coaching offers a space to process those changes while also helping you move toward greater stability, clarity, and confidence in this next phase of life.
This work may focus on:
adjusting emotionally after divorce
co-parenting transitions
rebuilding routines and identity
managing overwhelm and uncertainty
creating a more intentional vision for the future
